THE CENTER REQUESTS THAT YOU REMAIN DRUG FREE FOR AT LEAST 72 HOURS PRIOR TO ADMISSION YOU WILL BE ASKED TO SUBMIT A URINE SCREEN UPON ARRIVAL. RESULTS WILL BE STAFFED TO DETERMINE APPROPRIATENESS FOR ADMISSION.
Your first week of treatment is an orientation period in which visitation and phone time are restricted to help you focus on treatment engagement and reduce external stressors. During this time, you may send/receive mail and if circumstances arise that necessitate phone access, this will be facilitated by a counselor.
WHAT NOT TO BRING:
- Drugs, alcohol, drug paraphernalia. ** (These will be confiscated, destroyed, or turned over to law enforcement.)
- Weapons, pocket knives, scissors, etc. (Depending on the weapon or circumstances, law enforcement may be contacted.)
- Televisions, portable DVD players, laptops, cell phones (working or non-working), PDA’s, etc. (These items will be confiscated upon arrival and returned at discharge.)
- Hats or clothing advertising alcohol/drugs, sexually suggestive content, or promoting violence.
- Inappropriate clothing/revealing clothing.
- Mouthwash containing alcohol, hand sanitizer, nail polish or remover, nail glue.
- No aerosol cans (this includes deodorant, shave cream and hairsprays)
- Any pornographic materials. **
- Glue or White-Out. **
- No food, drink or condiments of any kind
- No personal checks, we can’t cash them.
- No E-Cigarettes (Vapes)
**ITEMS CONSIDERED TO BE CONTRABAND WILL BE TAKEN AND DESTROYED UPON ADMISSION TO THE FACILITY.
A requirement for admission into residential treatment includes consent to search your personal belongings, noninvasive search of your person, and random room searches. This will occur upon admission and at staff’s discretion throughout treatment.
WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU:
- Physician prescribed medications: please bring a 30-day supply in the original bottle with correct label. Make sure the medication is not expired. All prescriptions need to have a prescription label on it with dosage instructions. This includes any ointments and inhalers. If the dosage/usage labels are on the box, make sure to bring it with you or you won’t be able to use it.
- Over the counter medications (please refer to the approved over the counter medication sheet) need to be unopened in the original sealed bottle. Over the counter medications are not provided. Be prepared to buy medications if need be while in treatment.
- Enough clothes for one-week, comfortable, casual attire. Please limit luggage to 2 bags.
- Gym clothing for yoga and tennis shoes. You may also bring a clear water bottle.
- Toiletries: shampoo, conditioner, face wash, lotion, perfume, gel, shave cream (no aerosols) pump hairspray, Alcohol free mouthwash, toothbrush, and toothpaste, etc.
- Pajamas and bathrobe.
- Shower shoes.
- Discmans and iPod Nanos are allowed with headphones only (iPods with music functions ONLY. Any devices with Wi-Fi capability and one that has a camera or audio recording capabilities will be taken at admit and given back at discharge). No iPod docking stations, boom boxes, external speakers, etc.
- Bath towels and wash cloths (we supply two of each so if you need/want extra, please bring your own).
- Family photos are always welcome.
- Writing materials, stamps, envelopes, paper.
- You may bring personal reading material provided it is recovery-oriented: Twelve Step publications, bibles, devotional readings, self-help books, etc. Do not bring magazines.
- Money (cash only) for store run. You can make arrangements for family members to bring you money to the front office, Monday – Thursday, 8 am – 6 pm.

The Center accepts all FDA approved medications prescribed for the treatment of substance use disorder.
Please note that you will be sharing a room and the doors to the rooms DO NOT lock. Please DO NOT bring excessive amounts of money, cigarettes, or any valuables to treatment. Any item brought in that is not allowed, and not considered contraband, will be placed in secured storage, and returned upon discharge.
