Our Residential Program provides group and individual therapy, educational lectures, and skill-building groups. The Center’s programming is based on Dr. William Glasser’s Choice Theory and practiced through Reality Therapy. This cognitive-behavioral model teaches individuals how to stop substance-using behaviors and enact more effective and responsible choices. The Center is staffed by licensed Substance Use Disorder professionals who have also been trained through the Glasser Institute for Choice Theory.

How long does it take to get into Residential treatment at your facility?
This varies daily. Sometimes we can bring new patients in the very next day, other times we are out for a couple of weeks. For an accurate answer, please call the Residential Coordinator at 509-662-9673 and press option 5.
How long is your Residential program?
Our Residential Program is up to 30 days.
Does State Medical Cover Residential Treatment?
Yes, state medical covers Residential treatment. For a full list of accepted insurance please see our financial section.
Is your Residential program a Dual Diagnosis program?
We are not a dual diagnosis program.
When can I call my loved ones?
Your first 7 days are an orientation period allowing you to get settled into the program. After seven days, you will be able to sign up for phone time and begin communication with your loved ones.
Will I have a roommate?
Our rooms are dorm-like style with 2 patients in a room and generally you will have a roommate.
Do I need to bring cash with me?
The Center offers store runs during your stay for hygiene products and medications. Cash is optional, however, most of our patients choose to bring some just in case they need anything during the store run.
What is the schedule like when I get there?
Wake-up time is 6:30 AM and bedtime is around 9:30 PM. Between those times, we have structured treatment activities for you to attend. All activities on the schedule are mandatory treatment activities unless otherwise noted as optional. A schedule will be provided upon check in.
What is the facility layout?
Our building is in the shape of an L and is 3 stories tall with no elevator. Our patients will get their daily exercise traversing the stairs between the 3 floors throughout the day. The first floor features counseling offices, group rooms and is utilized for activities in the evening such as yoga and Saturday night movies. The second floor is the dining room and kitchen area, the dining room also doubles as an activity area from time to time. The third floor is the sleeping area along with bathrooms, a shower room and our residential staff plus the inpatient coordinator are also located on this floor.
